Aerospace Mechanic

Mechanic (Aerospace or Auto) Temp to Hire Day shift, 8-5 (will consider experienced mechanics seeking part time) $18-$22 per hour DOE This FAA approved repair station with a moto of 'creating goodwill by doing good work' employs the finest aircraft technicians in the industry and they want you to join their team!
Job Responsibilities: Service and overhaul: Piston engines (V-type, radial, horizontally opposed) Warbirds (fighters, trainers, bombers, transports, utility, jets) Helicopters Work on drive motors, compressors, actuators, alternators, adapters, fuel systems Required experience: Aircraft experience is preferred Will train someone who is highly mechanically inclined (auto mechanic, etc.) You must be able to pass an FAA drug test to be eligible for this position #MC

* Test aircraft systems under simulated operational conditions, performing systems readiness tests and pre- and post-operational checkouts, to establish design or fabrication parameters.
* Identify required data, data acquisition plans, and test parameters, setting up equipment to conform to these specifications.
* Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and operate test setups and equipment to detect malfunctions.
* Confer with engineering personnel regarding details and implications of test procedures and results.
