Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Work a 3/2 hybrid remote schedule. Work in the office Tuesday-Thursday and remotely Monday and Friday.
Essential Functions
1. Upload content into AEM (DAM), tagging with appropriate keywords and other metadata.
2. Organize and monitor content to ensure proper alignment to downstream systems.
3. Identify ways for improving efficiency and productivity through research and tools within AEM.
4. Coordinating the uploading/downloading, tracking and communication of the outsourcing of Outlines for both OTC and PZ.
5. Create web, photo and request records following established standards.
6. Tag and align asset references accurately (researching as needed).
7. Confirm content meets requirements and follows proper folder structure guidelines.
8. Perform audits to ensure proper licensing and intellectual property guidelines are being met.
9. Conduct routine performance audits to counter adverse issues before they negatively impact the business.
10. Collaborate with internal partners on desired use cases within the DAM, document and implement with Supervisor approval.
11. Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
12. Migrate / maintain content and the meta-data within AEM as needed.
13. Collaborate with associates to ensure successful location, retrieval, and upload of assets.
14. Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
15. Abides by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading Company.
Marginal Functions
1. Ensures DAM industry standards and processes are followed by setting permissions, workflows and/or preferences based on user roles.
2. Works with MMS Manager, MMS Supervisor to maintain efficient operation of systems, software, hardware and network functions. Recommends software and hardware enhancements.
3. Provides application support and troubleshooting for all aspects of the multimedia / digital content process.
4. Adjusts as needed to meet schedule, priority changes and short notice activity.
5. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education
Associate's degree in Graphic Design, related field, DAM experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in asset coordination, digital librarian, AEM content admin, or related field.
Other Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
Proficient using Macintosh platform utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud and/or other publishing software.
Able to work cross-functionally when needed.
Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
Able to understand company goals and establish, monitor and create systems to achieve those goals with minimal supervision.
Equipment Utilization
A networked Macintosh/PC platform utilizing DTP applications, database software, email, digital file transfer utilizing high-speed WAN, assorted printers, peripherals, fax, phone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Dimensions of Responsibility
Responsible for preparing and producing digital files under a highly refined set of systems and operating standards using state-of-the-art desktop publishing tools. Delivers projects on time meeting high quality standards.
