Responsibilities
• Develop systems, processes, and reference materials to standardize and simplify complex electrical, instrumentation and automation tasks• Provide on the job mentoring and support to enhance the skills and knowledge of the national E&I workforce• Development of HV and LV electrical maintenance systems• Implementation of Functional Safety standards• Implementation of the process safety standards for the UG E&I team• Managing the compliance to electrical site standards for the UG E&I team• Developing and mentoring national tradespeople for the UG E&I team• Assist troubleshooting and defect elimination of control system and HV reticulation issues• Advise on preventative maintenance optimization
Requirements
• Qualification and suitable experience with trade and maintenance background• Minimum of 10 years' experience in E&I maintenance practices• Understanding of SAP and work management• Functional Safety Technician Qualification• Experience in material handling system maintenance and hoisting plant maintenance• Experience in electrical infrastructure maintenance• Able to perform in a dynamic environment to easily adapt and support all the UG and Surface areas of responsibility if required• Able to interact with vendors / support service teams for problem solving and / or other maintenance related activities• Able to develop procedures / processes to safely contribute to the skill transferring process of the workforce• Good verbal and written communication skills• Familiar and preferably have qualifications and experience on SIL systems and required maintenance
