What you do: The Advertising Review Director will lead a team of compliance professionals responsible for reviewing and approving all sales literature, marketing materials and communications produced by the organization. The Director is responsible for ensuring adequate processes are in place to comply with regulatory requirements, including NAIC, FINRA, SEC and/or State Insurance, and the organization's policies and procedures. The role is responsible for execution and management of overall program strategy, stakeholders, process and technology. They must be able to communicate effectively with all departments within the company and external organizations. You will report to the VP of Corporate Strategy.
Lead and supervise the team responsible for reviewing all sales literature, marketing materials and communications produced by the organization. Develop, maintain, and evolve policies, procedures and technology related to advertising compliance. Work closely with marketing, sales and other relevant function leaders to manage relationships, influence outcomes and provide training to ensure that all advertising and marketing materials comply with requirements. Identify potential compliance risks and work with Legal and Compliance to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and/or partner on external and internal exams and reviews. Stay up to date on regulatory requirements and manage process and technology changes. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations.
