The Advanced Quality Engineer's plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the product development and manufacturing processes. They will be responsible for leading advanced quality planning initiatives, implementing continuous improvement measures, and driving root cause analysis to resolve quality issues. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of automotive quality standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Essential Functions Statement(s) Meet the expectations and standards set forth by IATF16945 and ISO14001. Lead APQP activities for new product launches, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and automotive quality standards. Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, and other APQP documentation. Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to identify and mitigate quality risks early in the product development process. Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards in all stages of the manufacturing process. Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with quality specifications and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in product design and manufacturing processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through the application of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Drive initiatives to optimize quality control processes and enhance product reliability. Education: Bachelor's Degree (4 Year Degree from College / University) in engineering or related field preferred Experience: Proven experience in a quality engineering role within the automotive manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of quality management systems, statistical methods, and manufacturing processes.
