Department: FORENSIC SCIENCE CENTER
Pay:   $15.75 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Performs varied clerical and office work involving the exercise of some independence in the conduct of standard duties. Provides clerical support for one or more administrative, professional or technical employees. Performs duties as a technical clerk or typist; or independent work involving significant procedure and sequence.
Reception operations
Receive and disseminate phone calls Obtain and disseminate appropriate call message information; Greet and assist visitors to the RFSC Sign for package receipt Distribute office mail Process billing for cremation permits
Compiles monthly billing reports Enters billing sheet information to create billing for forensic services Distribution of pathology case files.
Create folders for case files Distribute case file to pathologist Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent including or supplemented by courses in secretarial and general bookkeeping subjects. Two years of experience in varied clerical and secretarial work or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies.
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual
