International Armaments Cooperation Support Services, Deputy Under-Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs is seeking expert advice and assistance in support of the organization's International Armaments Cooperation (IAC) mission. We are seeking an Administrative Specialist to support the SAF/IAPC mission of developing and enhancing international relationships through strategic cooperative partnerships that leverage global expertise and resources to improve U.S. and partner defense capability and interoperability. This support is needed to improve the management, development, and execution of numerous IAC activities with allies and foreign government organizations.
CONUS/OCONUS travel will be required for supporting the U.S. Air Force in international forums, meetings, and conferences. The location of this work is 75% remote, 25% client site: Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) or PentagonResponsibilities: Track actions assigned to the organization via the DAF's Tasker Management System Tool (TMT)and Workflow system.Maintain office files in accordance with DAF regulations.Maintain office calendars and meeting scheduler.Assist in ordering office supplies.Assist in the preparation and submission of staff passport and visa applications.Prepare country clearance requests for the international travel of SAF/IAPC members.Assist in the mailing of official documents.Required Qualifications: Clearance: Secret Security Clearance.Travel: CONUS/OCONUS travel required to attend meetings in support of responsibilities. For OCONUS travel, a valid passport is required.Education: Bachelor's Degree (Master's Preferred) with a desired emphasis in International Affairs, Security Cooperation, and / or International Business curriculum.Experience: A minimum of five (5) years' experience with demonstrated effectiveness and success in one or more mission areas below:Demonstrated experience developing, coordinating, implementing and tracking IAC international agreements.US DoD staff experience in a military or civilian capacity performing the duties of Personnel Assignments / exchanges.Knowledge and general understanding of IAC Programs; International Cooperative Research and Development (ICR&D), Coalition Warfare Program (CWP), Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT), and Engineer and Scientist Exchange Program (ESEP) and Administrative Personnel Exchange Program (APEP).
