Salary: $29.94 - $47.76 hourly Position Description:
Under supervision from the Administration Manager, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and analytical support to the Executive Director, Faculty Director and Director of Philanthropy (the Directors) in the UC/CSU Collaborative for Neuroscience, Diversity, and Learning (UC/CSU Collaborative) within the School of Education & Information Studies. Assist with coordination of all Collaborative programs to ensure that critical tasks are completed on time and overall objectives are met. Manage workflow; maintain various computer databases; research and produce a wide variety of academic and administrative documents. Serve as the liaison between the Collaborative Directors, other faculty, departmental administrators, and other University and external officials. Manage competing demands to ensure deadlines and other obligations are met. The mission of the UC/CSU Collaborative and the School of Education and Information Studies as a whole, involves the highest-level planning and scheduling coordination for the UC/CSU Collaborative Directors among the School and University, and on the local, state, and national levels. Incumbent independently prioritizes and completes ongoing tasks following established UC/CSU Collaborative guidelines and School/University policies. Other assignments are made and reviewed by UC/CSU Collaborative Faculty and Executive Director on an ongoing basis. Special Instructions:
