Administrative Program Specialist (PS2) - DOH7866 Location Tumwater, WA : Description Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for maintaining professional business standards? Position: Full-time, permanent, Administrative Program Specialist (Program Specialist 2). Division: Health Systems Quality Assurance Location: Tumwater, WA (flexible/hybrid) Make a difference. As an Administrative Program Specialist (PS2) , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that written content from our division aligns with professional business standards and accurately represents the Assistant Secretary and Policy Director. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Acting on behalf of division leadership to research and address escalated public complaints. Collecting and analyzing data to craft unique response correspondence. Maintaining records of interactions as part of the executive correspondence process. Conducting research, synthesizing information, and summarizing various internal communications. Serving as the SharePoint administrator division pages, ensuring compliance with agency standards. Coordinating with content managers, managing site security, and leading office SharePoint teams. Lead, coordinate, and facilitate division-wide business policy and procedures, including acting as the chair of the division policy committee. Develop and maintain a policy review and tracking system. Our Ideal Candidate. Essential Requirements & Qualifications Note: Experience defined below may have been gained through paid or unpaid activities. Please ensure any relevant experience defined below is outlined in your cover letter, resume, and/or applicant profile. Option 1 : Five (5) or more years of experience performing research and crafting original professional written content in unique or unanticipated situations (i.e. constituent correspondence, reports, press releases, presentations, marketing materials, technical manuals, or comparable business communications). Option 2 : A bachelor's degree or higher in English, journalism, communication studies, public relations, business administration or a comparable field of study AND one (1) or more years of experience crafting original professional written content in the form of executive correspondence, reports, press releases, presentations, marketing materials, technical manuals or comparable business communications. AND (for BOTH of the above options) experience in the following: Intermediate skill in SharePoint administration: Setting permissions and managing site access Creating and customizing SharePoint pages Use workflows and automation for basic processes. Document management. experience in the key aspects of document management (creation, version control, document storage/retrieval, and access control). Work Location & Flexibility The duty station for this position is in Tumwater, WA. Telework (mobile work) is currently expected. When approved, the employee is expected to report to the duty station for work activities. Partial telecommuting may be an option subject to supervisory approval. We anticipate the incumbent will need to travel infrequently to attend training or participate in business meetings.
