THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate, detail-orientated Administrative Associate who understands that the foundation of a great school is rooted in operational excellence. Ethos Classical's commitment is to our students and families who rely upon our Senior Leadership team to operate with maximum impact daily. Our Administrative Associate supports the core functions of our Senior Leadership Team by maximizing time, operationalizing processes, and ensuring records compliance. The Administrative Associate reports to the Head of School and serves as a member of the schools Operations Team.

Ethos Classical is an elementary school built on research and best practices of high performing schools nationwide and is uniquely focused on educating students in South Atlanta. We were authorized by the Georgia State Charter School Commission in July of 2018 and will serve over 640 students in Fall 2024.

THE PERSON
Provide administrative support to Senior Leadership, including the Head of School, Principal and Assistant Principals.
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for Senior Leadership.
Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, and reports on behalf of Senior Leadership.
Support Governing Board operations and compliance through meeting preparation and documentation.
Maintain confidential records and files, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries to appropriate Senior Leadership members.
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for Senior Leadership as needed.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, expense reports, and financial documentation.
Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth operations within the school.
Perform general clerical tasks, such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and ordering office supplies.
Act as the school registrar, managing student records, enrollment, and transcripts in accordance with school policies and regulations.
Coordinate student registration, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and district requirements.
Prepare and maintain official student records, including academic transcripts, attendance records, and disciplinary documentation.
Assist in the organization and coordination of school events, meetings, and conferences.
THE MUST HAVES
Prior Experience
2+years of administrative and project management experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, required.
Work Demands
Occasional nights and weekends.
Ability to lift items up to 20lbs.
Skills
Highly organized and efficient.
Strong communicator and collaborator.
Able to problem solve and think creatively about enforcing operational systems and structures.
Able to systematically coordinate multiple moving parts, and multiple tasks, on a daily basis.
An entrepreneurial spirit that reflects an openness to change, a willingness to problem-solve, and an interest in developing new ideas & program.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness and desire to support others in doing their best work.
