The Administrative Assistant is located in Vancouver and typically reports directly to the Project Managers. They will assist with overall project performance, including work orders, assisting with the management of costs, schedules, qualities, and overall project status, while maintaining excellent relationships with trades, and all employees. The assistant will keep the Manager informed of questions, progress, discrepancies in project process, and any other issues which would impact the plan and schedule.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Assist the Managers to ensure project objectives, billings, time entry, policies, procedures, and performance standards are in accordance with company policy and contract specifications are met
•Document and route incoming invoices
•Document control for new hires, keeping detailed records in HRIS data base
•Comply with all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
•Assist in developing and implementing quality control programs
•Build and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationships
•Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
•Answering incoming telephone calls
•Other duties as assigned

•1-3 years of administrative experience in the construction industry
