The Automation & Geosciences Sector of ARA is searching for an enthusiastic, motivated, and collaborative individual to join our administrative staff as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. In this position you will have the responsibility of assisting our administrative team with various accounts payable tasks, as well as other functions.
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will support our division with various administrative tasks.
What you'll do as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Reconciliation of P-cards, including coding and backup documentation Creating AP vouchers, managing payments for services and utilities Internal support for travel, including expense reports Office reception tasks: Greet & welcome visitors, answer & direct calls, maintain visitor log & badges Assist with working lunches/dinners as needed Assist with meeting set-up as needed Various record keeping/filing tasks Accounts Receivable billing and collection Receiving incoming shipments; managing packing slips Managing outbound shipments Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Requirements Attention to detail Organization Open communication Maintain vendor relationships/customer relationships Microsoft 365, Word & Excel experience Data entry skills Knowledge of general accounting procedures Ability to meet deadlines High School plus advanced training 4-5 year's previous experience Team player Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Preferences Previous Administrative Assistance/Receptionist experience preferred Knowledge of accounting software Company & Division Information Applied Research Associates, Inc. is an employee-owned international research and engineering company recognized for providing technically superior solutions to complex and challenging problems in the physical sciences.
