Administrative Assistant III and AVISO Coordinator Location El Dorado, KS : Posting Information Posting Information Position Title Administrative Assistant III and AVISO Coordinator Job Duties Butler Community College is seeking an Administrative Assistant to be responsible for the management of the academic office which serves the Online, High School and Community Learning Division. This position manages all aspects of the front office environment for the Dean, performs routine and non-routine administrative and general office duties, and provides support to the Dean of OHCL and Educational Technology department. This position serves as the coordinator for the AVISO system, managing efficiency, appropriate use, and training of the AVISO retention tool. Qualifications Required knowledge and skills A. High degree of organizational and planning skills. Attention to detail a plus. B. Thorough knowledge of computers with word processing required; knowledge of database and spreadsheets desirable. C. Good written and oral communication skills; the ability to follow oral and written instructions; the ability to work with minimal supervision. D. Ability to maintain good working relationships with a wide variety of fellow workers and students. E. Ability to understand and maintain budgets for multiple departments. F. Ability to communicate knowledge of technology and train others. Required experience A. General office experience with preference for office management experience. B. Work experience in an educational setting desirable. C. Computer skills including Windows based word processing, database, and spreadsheet software. Required educational background High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate's degree preferred.
