Responsibilities Warmly greet and screen incoming calls, visitors, and vendors with kindness
Master Calendar & Building Use
Maintain master church calendar in conjunction with Communications Coordinator o Communicate this regularly with staff (including Sexton) o Update database and website calendar accordingly Schedule Room Usage for internal church groups/committees o Reserve proper equipment per room use Ensure proper room set-up with Sexton Prepare worship spaces for weekly services Schedule BeeTree Preserve bookings Maintain Membership Section of Church's Database
Maintain member, participant, and guest information, including demographics, contact information, family and pastoral care notes, ministry contacts, and attendance Record attendance from physical or virtual gatherings, including worship, groups, classes, events, etc. Maintain membership of all church groups, committees, choirs, and teams Create event registrations in database for both virtual and in-person groups and events Responsible for the print production and preparation of weekly bulletins, mass mailings, and, in conjunction with Director of Communications, special reports, brochures, newsletters, etc.
Maintain stock of office supplies
Ensure volunteer coverage and supplies for coffee/fellowship hour after worship services
Provide additional administrative support to staff and ministry teams as directed by pastors
Learn essential functions of Business Manager and Director of Communications & Connections
Serve as kitchen manager in accordance with Baltimore County regulations
Qualifications Kind demeanor Strong communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Some data entry or database experience desirable Ability to work well with diverse group of individuals Job Type : Part-time (20 hours/week)
