We are seeking an Acute and Critical Care Occupational Therapy Fellow to:

Become well versed in acute care occupational therapy with advanced clinical skills for evaluation, assessment, and treatment of various diagnoses in a fast-paced environment. Assist in appropriate discharge planning and goal setting for patients and families as a trusted advocate as they progress through their hospital stay. Participate in didactic learning modules to further growth and knowledge in a specialized setting. Challenge their own and other staff member's clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units and case presentations to advance the role of occupational therapy in acute care. Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to carry out evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes for patients. Receive and modify practice patterns based on constructive feedback from mentors. Education :
Minimum -

Graduate of an accredited, entry-level degree program (Baccalaureate or higher) in Occupational Therapy. Credentialed by National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapists (NBCOT). Must obtain NPI number prior to starting the fellowship program. Work Experience :
Preferred - One (1) year of prior relevant experience. Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum - Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin. Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months of hire. Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
