Job Title: Activities Manager

Job Summary:

The Activities Manager will develop and ensure facility activities and equipment are properly managed and maintained, ensure activities are readily available for guests, and be hands-on with them as they utilize the various property activities. The Activities Manager will collaborate with other department managers to develop programs and workshops featuring our gardens, grounds, culinary team, and local artisans. Travelers are increasingly seeking experiential travel, and with Goodstones unique property, the Activities Department will be able to provide our guests with experiences like no other.
Essential Functions

Develop activities and programming that encourage guests to EXPERIENCE Goodstone.
Oversee facilities and equipment, coordinating with maintenance as needed for upkeep.
Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks associated with recreational activities, such as water safety guidelines for pool activities or
Build relationships with local artisans (and pull from our talented staff) to develop a rotating schedule of workshops and classes.
Work with the culinary and gardening teams to develop programming that draws from each team (for example, guests gather ingredients from the garden, and the Chef prepares them for or with them).
Work with the marketing team to promote activities through various channels
Responsible for managing the budget allocated for recreational activities
Valet & Transportation Services
Develop and manage a valet program for restaurant and check-in services, including front desk check-in assistance, and provide in-house guest transportation service on the property (restaurant, spa, etc.)
Consider additional transport service off-site
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School or equivalent
Prior experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in roles related to recreation, activities coordination, event planning, or guest services, is highly valued.
Must be highly organized to plan and schedule various activities, manage resources, and ensure that events run smoothly.
