What will I do as a Activities Director? Oversee the development of a program designed to meet the physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, occupational, and social needs of residents. Plans, publishes and posts monthly calendar of regular and special events. Ensure activities portion of ASP is completed. Demonstrates awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of residents and their families. Oversees Volunteer Program. Assists the director with the daily activities in the department. Supervises the Activities Assistants in accordance with the facility policies and current regulations. Facilitates communication within Engagement Department and other departments. Assists with assigning activity duties to engagement staff and volunteers. Assists with ordering supplies and equipment for engagement program. Assists with transportation for group outings, accompanies residents on trips and can drive the vans. What is required in this position? Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. A 4-year degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field, or related life experience is preferred. Assistant Activities Director, Memory Care experience preferred. What makes LifeQuest unique?
