Acquisition Program Analyst Journeyman Clearance: Secret
Hybrid: Approximately 4 days on site per week (Pentagon).
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is currently staffing for an  Acquisition Program Analyst – Journeyman. SAF/AQ – Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition
The Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ) is responsible for acquiring weapons systems for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and serves as the Senior Procurement Executive, the Service Acquisition Executive (SAE) and acquisition representative on the Air Force Council. SAF/AQ oversees the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) and procurement of major Air Force platforms and systems across the full breadth of air and space capabilities. SAF/AQ reports to the Secretary of the Air Force, serves as an agent of the Secretary within assigned policy and program domains, and provides guidance, direction, and oversight for all matters pertaining to the formulation, review, and execution of plans, policies, programs, and budgets within the AQ area of responsibility. SAF/AQ also works in cooperation with the other agencies and organizations within the Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) and Headquarters Air Force (HAF). Program Executive Officers (PEOs) at multiple acquisition centers, to include the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO), reports directly to the SAE and the Defense Acquisition Executive (DAE) for Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition functions. SAF/AQ works to address immediate and near-term Combat Air Force and Combatant Commander's requirements by managing acquisition projects conducted on accelerated timelines require unique industrial interactions, and coordination and cooperation of other government agencies and organizations. SAF/AQ authorized billets are capped, and no additional civilian or military billets are available.
This position is responsible for and primarily focuses on the ETMS2 Task Management Tool (TMT) workload management and email inboxes.
Tasks for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Receiving and distributing mail, managing correspondence, and action item tasking and tracking including monitoring deadlines in TMT, and reviewing correspondence for correctness. Setting-up and maintaining file plan. Engaging AQ members and external stakeholders on tasker-related items. Creating, editing, and maintaining MS Access and SharePoint databases. Performing reconciliations between databases. Maintaining records and executing Government administrative policies. Independently reviewing outgoing correspondence (emails and TMT) and ensuring handling requirements for classified (Secret/TS-SCI) materials are accurately followed. Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or related discipline. At least 3 years work experience with MS Access and TMT (ETMS2), to include TMT workflow management. Requires attention to detail, knowledge of the Privacy Act regulations, and CUI handling. Work Experience Substitutions:
6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
Associate degree plus 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree. About Nationwide IT Services
