ACCREDITATION & POLICY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - MEDICAL STAFF SERVICES Location Marietta, OH : Status: Flex Time - 40 hours Hours: 8am-2pm In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Accreditation & Policy Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating continuous readiness related to the accreditation programs including Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and other regulatory agencies as appropriate, and assisting with responses to initiatives. This position is responsible for all routing, review, and processes related to policy management and approvals. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times. Job Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. One year of nursing or related accreditation experience with administrative duties required. Strong understanding of accreditation guidelines. Organizational skills the ability to meet deadlines. Job Functions: 1. Maintains and improves the policy portal. 2. Receives, processes and routes all new policies and procedure documents for processing and entry into the document control system. 3. Edits policies as revisions are submitted. 4. Updates policies with new titles or title changes to responsible positions and/or departments. 5. Communicates with policy submitters to ensure accuracy and timeliness of changes. 6. Trains all new leaders on the use our policy portal. 7. Provides new accreditation manual releases and requests policy updates to ensure adherence to current accreditation standards. 8. Supports system-wide efforts to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance including CMS certification and Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) accreditation. 9. Assists in the preparation and submission of reports, responses and/or corrective action plans and follows-up with ACHC and CMS as required. 10. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary. Compensation Details: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
