We are currently hiring an Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accountant to join our team! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to join a strong, supportive Accounting and Finance team and manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and maintain financial compliance.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Revenue & Federal Accounting this position will play a crucial role in managing the accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and maintaining financial compliance. The AR/Revenue Accountant will lead all aspects of billing and collection operations and collaborate with a team of AR staff members. Analyze customer contracts and agreements to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment. Monthly Invoicing: Responsible for the billing and invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Review revenue postings in accounting system for accuracy. Establish and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate timely payment collections. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments. Collaborate Project leads to resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes with clients. Set monthly meetings with CFO and relevant stakeholders to review aging reports or any issues with accounts receivable. Month-end Close: Review revenue for missing data in advance of AR closing. Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations for all AR related accounts, including but not limited to, accounts receivable. Assist with various external audits. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field along with 2+ years of recent revenue billing experience Familiarity with ASC 606 and ASC 842 Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) NetSuite knowledge is preferred.
