Accounts Receivable - Remote Work

Job Description:

CenterPoint Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable professional to join our team on a part-time basis as a remote worker in Columbus, Ohio. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are looking to gain experience in the field and grow within a dynamic company.

Responsibilities:- Prepare and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments- Reconcile discrepancies in billing and resolve customer inquiries- Assist with month-end closing processes- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient billing processes- Maintain organized and thorough documentation of all financial transactions

Requirements:- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently- Driven and resourceful personality traits- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred but not required)- 0 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related field
