Accounts Receivable Location Portland, OR (Lloyd area) : Crowne Plaza - Portland Downtown 1441 NE 2nd Avenue Portland, OR 97232 ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK The Crowne Plaza - Portland Downtown is seeking Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for accurate and timely billing, collection of payments, and data management in accordance with company policies and procedures. Opera PMS knowledge preferred. Skills and Ability to: Analyze information or activities involving original data manipulation or interpretation to arrive at logical conclusions. Maintain the highest level of integrity, professionalism, fairness and confidentiality. Make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgement that is consistent with established company standards, policies, and procedures as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Use strong organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks with limited direct supervision. Add, subtract, multiply and divide quickly and with accurately. Use ten-key by touch, and type at least 40 wpm. Manage one's time to meet productivity standards. Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, scanning, faxing, and mailing. Communicate effectively and professionally in the written English language using correct spelling, grammar, and rules of composition, and verbally by speaking clearly and concisely. Work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, outside agencies and with the public. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in accounting or similar preferred. Opera PMS experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
