Full job description A.L. GEORGE dba Onondaga Beverage - the largest beverage distributor handling beer, non-alcoholics, wine and liquor in central New York. We are looking for an experienced AOM A/R Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position located in Syracuse, NY. Must have excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
This position is responsible for all aspects of accounts receivable for our non-chain customer group (all other markets). Respond to customer and delivery staff inquiries and needs, apply payments, manage State Liquor Authority (SLA) reporting and bi-weekly statement processing.
Qualified applicants only – submit resume to Responsibilities Process and record daily deposits Customer file maintenance, including credit application processing Monitor accounts for timely payment and work with staff to resolve payment variances. Review customer accounts for collection concerns and report to agency when deemed necessary Responsibility for mandated NY State Liquor Authority delinquent account reporting Provide administrative support to delivery and sales departments as needed Other administrative duties as assigned Requirements and skills High school diploma.
