Accounts Payable Supervisor

LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading global provider of both upstream and downstream healthcare supply chain products and support. Our client has a great direct hire opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor located in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for all Accounts Payable functions while leading a team and ensuring efficiency. This position utilizes a hybrid work model. Accounts Payable Supervisor Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of accounts payable professionals Present regular updates to senior management regarding departmental metrics Generate reports and provide insights into accounts payable performance Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely manner Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers Implement best practices to streamline the accounts payable processes Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy Oversee the disbursement process, including check runs, ACH payments and wire transfers Review and resolve discrepancies in invoices Ensure proper coding, approval and documentation for all invoices Manage the accurate and timely processing of invoices Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team success Accounts Payable Supervisor Requirements: Minimum of Associate's Degree in related field 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience (e.g. keying invoices, check runs, ACH transactions, etc.)2+ years of experience supervising Accounting teams is required Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities Excellent organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite  Strong reporting experience using PowerBI or MS Excel Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams to complete projects Previous experience managing software implementation or migration projects
