An established and growing security systems integration and audio video company based out of Pompano Beach has an opening in the accounting department. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to help us keep growing. This is an office position. Responsibilities: Maintain precise records of all vendor payments. Monitor tax liabilities and ensure tax liabilities are paid on time. Responsible for paying and keeping record of all invoices. Keep track of all company credit card spending and make payments on credit accounts. Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy. Prepare and mail all required tax documents. Research and approve new vendors and create new vendor accounts Review and process check requests. AP Aging preparation. Prepare check runs and wire transfer requests. Sort and prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms. Reconcile vendor statements. Identify errors and work with the vendor to resolve them. Prepare month end closing. Maintain historical records by filing documents. Assist in general administrative tasks. Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. Other duties as requested. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience Proven knowledge of Quickbooks online is a must. Comfortable with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite. Functional knowledge of database and spreadsheet tools, such as MySQL and Excel Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills AA or BA in business related field highly desirable Data entry proficiency Able to prioritize tasks according to importance and business requirements. Able to establish a good rapport with peers and supervisors. Attention to detail and discretion with company confidential information. No Third Party Agencies or Submissions Will Be Accepted.
