Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Western & Southern Financial Group in Houston, Texas. As an Entry Level Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely and accurate manner. You will also be responsible for reconciling vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies, and maintaining vendor files.

Responsibilities:- Process invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner- Enter and code invoices for payment- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files- Assist with month-end closing activities- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures- Provide support as needed to the accounting and finance team

Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Basic knowledge of accounting principles- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel- Previous experience in accounts payable is a plus but not required
