Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for vendor payments and documentation of financial transactions. Must have high attention to detail, and excellent record keeping and communication skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Enter payments to vendors in ERP system, which may include verifying current standing, and reviewing purchase orders. Work collaboratively with in-house departments to ensure proper documentation and approval of invoice payments. Communicate with vendors on all accounts payable inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Maintain AP filing and vendor documentation. Assist with internal and external accounting audits. Other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Must be reliable and punctual. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of Navision software helpful. Must be able to learn new processes and adapt to changes. Must possess sound interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records. Education and Experience: High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred. At least 2 years of accounts payable experience preferred.
