Job Overview: The primary function of the Accounts Payable Associate position is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the department manager.
Primary Duties: Review, code and aid in the success of invoices processing through an automated workflow. Identify and solve any invoice discrepancies. Process manual checks when needed. Schedule vendor payments via weekly check run or ACH batch. Compile checks and approved invoices for signature. Review payable aging reports. Review and follow up on vendor statements. Responsible for communicating with both internal and external customers regarding accounts payable. Coordinate with internal departments and/or supervisor(s) to find solutions and resolve matters. Document and update process and procedures. Qualifications / Experience / Education: Associate degree preferred. 2+ years relevant AP experience Timberline and Timberscan experience preferred but not required. Proficiency in administrative and documentation procedures. Must be articulate and a confident communicator. Extremely efficient and accurate with data entry, proficient in MS applications.
