Accounting Supervisor

Banyan Search is assisting a Triad corporation with their search for an Accounting Supervisor. This is a newly created position due to the growth being experienced by this privately held company. The position will report to and work closely with the Controller on a variety of accounting duties. Responsibilities of the Accounting Supervisor will include, but will not be limited to:
Assist with month end close process Prepare monthly financial statements Review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts Oversee accounting department staff and accounting operations including A/R, A/P Prepare cost and/or inventory reports Help with documentation of accounting processes in maintaining internal controls Assist with preliminary and year end audit preparation Qualified candidates for the Accounting Supervisor role will possess the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years' experience Strong attention to detail Experience with general ledger functions and month end closings Experience with preparing financial statements Ability to work independently Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple assignments This position is an in-office role.
