Role: Accounting Specialist Location: Minneapolis, MN Pay Rate Range: $25 / hour to $28 / hour dependent upon applicable experience Internal Job ID: 573887 Addison Group has a client located in Plymouth who is actively looking for an Accounting Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have 3 years' experience working in an Accounting position working with the general ledger, bank reconciliations, and assisting with month end close. The ideal candidates will possess solid organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to hit all deadlines. The Accounting Specialist role is paying $25-28/hour.
Responsibilities include: Process all general ledger, journal entries, AR/AP invoices, and expense management Assist in vendor management, assist with all close activities, and any exposure to financial statements is a plusProcessing full-cycle AP/AR invoicesCheck runs, cutting checks, ACH transactions and reportingAbility to take direction well from management regarding excel projects as assigned. Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize projects and ability to meet deadlinesRequirements: ·Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required
·Intermediate Excel
·Experience working with Great Plains, JDE, Oracle, or QuickBooks
·Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounting role
·Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment
