Accounting Manager Summary: Our client, an international manufacturer, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Tampa, Florida! Our client provides interior and exterior doors for residential, commercial, and corporate settings. This role is responsible for financial planning, overseeing the work of accountants, optimizing financial processes, and preparing budgets and reports. Monitor and analyze data in QAD while building reports. Guide financial decisions by developing and monitoring policies and procedures. Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and reports, as well as reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations. Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinate with outside auditors and provide needed information for the annual external audit. Present recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies. Preparation & filing of sale, use, & occupancy tax returns. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting required with experience in process improvements and project management tools. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
