Position Summary: Our company is a leading retail corporation based in the United States, with ourheadquarters located in California. We are currently seeking an experienced and highlyskilled Accounting Manager to join our team at our West Covina office.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the accounting operations including the preparation offinancial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, accountreconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Lead and coordinate the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with allfederal, state, and local tax regulations.
Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure
the integrity of financial data.
Utilize SAP for financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements.
Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation andsupport during audits.
Provide financial analysis and support to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degreepreferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years ina management role.
Comprehensive knowledge of tax regulations, auditing standards, and internalcontrol practices.
Proficiency in SAP and other accounting software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
CPA certification is highly preferred.
