Description:
Position will be equivalent of a Controller with 5 direct reports
Ownership of Plant P&L, providing insight and analysis of drivers of performance
Review all Month End Close accruals, journal entries, P&L reconciliations
Responsible for all Plant audit support and compliance reporting, including ensure accuracy of inventory and adherence to corporate policy
Diagnose weekly/monthly material yield and loss
Assist the Plant leadership team with development of KPIs for assessing functional performance and areas of opportunity for further cost reduction
Develop data-driven, fact-based information to support decisions enabling productivity measures to reduce overall cost
Provide financial justification and post-audits for Capital expenditures
Understand plants business process and flow as it impacts plants financials.
Lead a team by mentoring and managing workload appropriately to maximize teams performance.
Oversee the plants accounts payable functions as an intermediator between corporate AP and plant.
A team member of BOM management and understanding impact on financial.
Support plant on ERP functions as it relates to inventory, purchasing, accounts payable, and raw material balancing.
Responsible for generating the plants annual budget by working with plants leadership team.
Involved in plants traceability functions and exercises. Ensure regulatory compliance with USDA, FDA and WDA and act as liaison for regulatory compliance auditors, as well as internal auditors.
Responsible for maintenance of plants production record keeping, to include license or permit application and maintenance.
Assume an active role in the plant Safety Programs to include involvement in the plant Safety Teams.
Communicate, interact, and problem solve effectively with all personnel, all departments, sister plants and all levels of management to ensure the smooth operation of the process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
have a bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative/technical discipline is required.
have 5+ years professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
are highly detail oriented, have superior analytical capability, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications.
have experience in a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on Finance/Accounting.
have management and delegation skills
proficient in all MS Office programs, with advanced skills in Excel including Power BI
possess strong prioritization skills, flexibility, and ability to multi-task on a daily basis.
are knowledgeable in SAP, or other ERP System.
can function within a multi-system environment.
can work within a diverse team environment.
