Accounting Manager

This position will be a hybrid role at their office in Oak Brook, and compensation will be between $50-55/hour for this temporary Accounting Manager role . Accounting Manager Responsibilities:   Develop and oversee accounting policies, procedures and personnel Perform all accounting functions, including recording transactions and journal entries, reconciling asset and liability accounts, manage the month-end close process and financial statement preparation Establish capitalization policy and process, record fixed asset additions and deletions, and work with 3rd party CPA firm on depreciation records Ensure consistent and accurate GL coding Assist in the annual budgeting process and contribute to monthly forecasting activities Special projects and additional duties as needed or assigned Accounting Manager Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; master's degree a plus CPA certification is preferred 6+ years of experience, with progressive roles in accounting, 2+ years in a managerial role Strong knowledge of GAAP, regulations and financial reporting; tax understanding a plus Strong process improvement background with a history of implementing successful process changes Exceptional leadership, organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Must be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines  If you are a motivated and strategic professional with a passion for transforming processes and driving operational efficiency, please apply today.
