CGRC's Accounting Manager is an integral member of the Finance team. The Accounting Manager is responsible for the General Ledger accounting functions, including Accounts Payable & Payroll. This role manages the organization's financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and financial assets and plans & directs the accounting activities of the department.
Additional key responsibilities include:
Manage the Accounting team members & team's job functions. Preparation of monthly financial statements including variance reports with explanations for variance to budget. Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation. Preparation of Board summary documents, including explanation of variance and changes. Balance Sheet account analysis completion including evidence of review with supporting documentation. Provide financial analysis. Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to associated G/L accounts, including A/P, A/R, & Payroll accounts. Oversight of Cash Flow to ensure accuracy and posting to correct balance sheet accounts. Assist with fiscal related audits. Collaborate with Controller/CFO to ensure all agency financial policies and procedures are current, assuring accuracy in expense reporting and in line with Accounting best practices. Meet regularly with Controller & CFO to review organization operations and activities and assist in special projects as needed. Who is CGRC?
