Duties & Responsibilities:
The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the Accounting Department . This individual will lead a team of accounting personnel , ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with regulations, and contribute to strategic financial decisions.
Ensure the day-to-day operation of the accounting functions within the business. Prepare accurate & timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance and trends. Manage & mentor a team of accounting staff while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts. Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data. Continuously review & enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Manage cash flow and optimize cash management strategies to support operational needs and maximize returns on investments. Assist the CFO in conducting in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. Proven experience of 5 years in accounting, with a track record of progressive responsibility. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Finance (MS F&O); advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Working here has it's benefits!
