We are a local remodeling company looking for an Accounting Manager to help us with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, and standard day-to-day accounting support. We utilize QuickBooks Online for accounting, so a good knowledge of this program is required. Most of our accounting is very straightforward, so if you know how to keep the books and send invoices you will be a great fit. Aspects of the job include:
Review subcontractor and vendor invoicing for accuracy against work orders. Enter invoices from vendors and issue payment. Follow up with contractors or suppliers on invoice questions or discrepancies. Enter expense reports and clear credit card transactions for Company cards. Send customer invoices, late notices, and file delinquency paperwork. General journal entries and month end cash reconciliations. Take customer payments and provide receipts. Record inventory transfers in and out. Make weekly deposits. Job Requirements Proven experience with bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online. Understanding of Accounting including accounts payable, invoicing, accounts receivable, month end reconciliation, and basic bookkeeping. Dependable and trustworthy Good organization skills Self-motivated and accountable for the work you manage Proficient using Excel Produce work with a high level of accuracy Professionalism and organization skills Preferred Experience (Not Required) If you have a working knowledge of construction, specifically exterior products, that is preferred but not a requirement of the job.
