Accounting Manager Job Responsibilities Responsible for being hands-on with the day-to-day client financials, and managing/mentoring a staff accountant, as well as helping implement standard accounting policies and procedures Active in developing financial modeling; Reviewing financial results, Supporting the use of KPIs and dashboards; and Reviewing accounting records to ensure accuracy in accordance with US GAAP to generate strategic initiatives to increase efficiency and improve profitability Support the preparation of quarterly financial analysis to be presented to leadership Review month-end reconciliations and account-closing processes As a Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive tax services to a diverse portfolio of industries. Your expertise in tax laws, regulations, and compliance will contribute to the success of our clients as well as our internal growth.
Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and some individual tax returns accurately and efficiently Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise clients on effective tax-planning strategies Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their implications to clients and colleagues. Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities Work closely with clients to gather information, answer questions and provide general guidance in tax preparation, tax planning and execution. No attestation (audit) work, emphasis on profitability and tax mitigation.
