Accounting Manager

Located in Cincinnati, OH we are a leading Real Estate company who are seeking a strong Accounting Manager to oversee our company's financials and accounting activities. 
Position Overview: You will report directly to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the financial strategy and controlling the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and all applicable state and federal regulations. Manage and coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company. Analyze and advise on the financial performance of the company and provide feedback to senior management. Oversee and review all financial transactions. Lead the development and implementation of financial systems and procedures. Carry out complex financial analysis and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Manage and oversee the company's grant management, real estate development, and real estate accounting activities. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial operations. BS/BA in Accounting or related field  CPA - preferred  Real Estate industry experience - preferred  Experience with payables, payroll, grant management, and real estate development  Proficiency in Quickbooks and QuickBooks Online. Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
