Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control procedures. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate and lead the annual external audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making. Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital and liquidity. Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and achieve organizational goals. Stay current on accounting regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred. Thorough knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal control principles. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
