Accounting Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary role of the Accounting Manager position is to provide support to the Accounting Department. The position will report directly to the Director, but will also include supporting personnel within the entire Accounting Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General LedgerPrepare monthly recurring journal entriesPrepare monthly bank reconciliationsPrepare certain general ledger account reconciliations

Financial ReportingAssist Director of Financial Reporting with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual lender reportingAssist with preparation of audit schedules required by external auditorsAssist with quality control reviewPrepare and track year-end audit cash, debt, and legal confirmationsAssist with quarterly depreciation projections

QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding of double-entry accounting principles and practicesStrong analytical and computer skillsStrong interpersonal, organization and communication skillsSelf-motivated individual with strong work ethic and high level of integrityExceptional attention to detailBA/BS is required, with concentration in accounting or a related fieldby Jobble
