Part Time / Summer position to assist with the accounting and customer service department.
1. Data Entry:
· Accurately inputting data related to accounts payable, freight invoices, order entry, and facilitating returns.
2. Accounts Receivable Follow-Ups:
· Sending out timely follow-ups to customers regarding outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring prompt payment and resolution.
3. Customer Inquiries:
· Responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, including sending invoice copies, sterility documents, and tracking information as needed.
4. Month-End Reconciliations:
· Assisting with month-end reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
5. Quality Issue Reporting and Resolution:
· Identifying and reporting quality issues to the warehouse and collaborating with stakeholders to craft effective solutions for customers.
6. Handling Contact Emails:
· Managing contact emails by reading and redirecting customer questions to the appropriate person or department for resolution.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in data entry and accounting tasks.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Excel.
· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (nice to have)
· Customer service experience and a customer-centric mindset.
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
· Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
