As an Accounting & FP&A Manager at YWM you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial records while leveraging your analytical skills to extract valuable insights from data. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to day-to-day accounting activities, and utilizing data analysis to enhance financial reporting. Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity. Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within financial and operational data sets. Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Collaborate with internal teams to establish and implement data-driven solutions for improved efficiency and accuracy in financial processes. Support internal and external audit processes by providing well-documented and analyzed financial information. Contribute to the development and implementation of data-driven internal controls to enhance financial data integrity. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA candidate or certification is a plus. 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles with experience in data analysis. People leadership/management experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software. Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
