Position Purpose
The Treasury Director is responsible for end to end treasury operations of the Company. Leads and directs the accounts payable and accounts receivables teams which are responsible for paying and collection of cash across all the Company's operations. Responsible for coordinating activities across the accounting, finance, operations and procurement groups. Provides support and leadership to group and company wide projects as required.
Functional Responsibility
•  Oversees, directs, and manages departmental activities and team performance
•  Drives and models company culture and holds self, peers, and direct reports accountable for demonstrating a constructive company culture through influential, personal behavior and actions
•  Develops and implements clearly defined operational and individual goals to develop employees, achieve productivity levels, and to attain the company's strategic plan
•  Researches best practices, stays abreast of industry trends, and maintains awareness of regulatory changes to ensure compliance and continually improve operations
•  Executes departmental financial objectives by preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action
•  Achieves departmental results to ensure the effective delivery of the strategic plan
•  Develops staffing needs; attracts, motivates, and retains a workforce with the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities to achieve goals and objectives
•  Promotes and ensures a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
•  Leads the way and prepares departmental staff for success in a continually changing environment
•  Fosters a work environment that encourages creative thinking, promotes flexibility, and drives innovation
•  Addresses employee issues, concerns, and complaints in an objective and confidential manner; notifies HR Business Partner and keeps immediate manager informed as appropriate
•  Ensures compliance and consistent application of company policies, initiatives, and decisions
•  Coaches, guides, and develops direct reports; fully engages in the GPS (Performance Management) process; provides high-quality feedback, and ensures proper GPS documentation of employee performance, recognition, and deficiencies
Essential Duties
•  Manages all cash management functions including cash concentration, wires and account funding; ensures adequate liquidity for working capital needs, manages inter-company cash, including inter-company lending and dividend payments
•  Ensures that credit facilities are in compliance with bank requirements at all times
•  Oversees cash management banking and financial institution relationships; negotiates bank and service fees; implements new bank technologies, products and services to improve cash cycle and simplify company operations
•  Oversees the Accounts Payable and Account Recievables teams to ensure efficient operations in outflows and inflows of cash
•  Develops, implements and enforces policies, procedures and internal controls around cash operations, treasury systems and reporting, and financial compliance
•  Drives continuous improvement through tools and training to prepare the team for future growth
•  Oversees the management of the corporate card program and expense reporting programs and systems
•  Completes yearly and five-year strategic financial planning for all aspects of treasury and banking operations
•  Designs and implements financial policies, procedures, and systems that are future focused and support company vision, desired culture, and high performance as well as protect company interests
•  Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
•  Ensures the integrity of all accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, planning and analytical activities while fostering sound business practices, cost effectiveness, and financial accountability
•  Establishes appropriate governance model through assessment of existing processes and controls to identify best practices and implement change, where needed
•  Ensures team's activities are consistent with meeting the company's stated commitments
•  Builds strong relationships with other functional leaders to recommend and implement solutions to company issues and financial IS system infrastructure improvements
•  Participates in special projects and compiles a variety of special reports as needed

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
•  Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
•  10 years previous accounting experience, including staff supervision and development
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•  Strong analytical capabilities combined with strong leadership, negotiation, and inter-personal, verbal, and written communication skills
•  Proven track record of operating effectively across functional boundaries, building and sustaining external and internal relationships while using seasoned judgment coupled with excellent financial acumen and integrity
•  Excellent communication, decision-making, analytical, and organizational skills
Certificates and Licenses
•  Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
