Accounting Coordinator

Accounting Coordinator Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred
5+ years experience working in similar role
Previous experience in invoicing for a Law Firm preferred
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe
Firm understanding of AR/AP
Proficient in fundamental accounting principles
Skilled in reconciliation processes and comprehension
Exhibits excellent organizational skills
Capable of self-management in a dynamic work environment
Adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Accounting Coordinator Responsibilities
Conduct daily reviews of new client/matter intake and change requests to ensure data accuracy in the central accounting system
Evaluate pre-bill documents and generate client invoices
Act as a mediator between attorneys, clients, and third-party billing vendors
Coordinate client billings based on predefined thresholds with multiple billing attorneys
Prepare required monthly status reports
Monitor retainer statuses, generate invoices, and compile necessary reports
Assist in printing and distributing month-end reports
Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned
Extract and manipulate data using Excel or other software
Perform data entry and handle administrative duties
Oversee employee intake, payroll, and insurance accounts management
