Accounting Clerk, Atlanta Airport

Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is hiring an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Atlanta Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. Receive, verify, and process invoices and payment documents, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures   Maintain the general ledger, update vendor files and numbers, and prepare batches of invoices for daily data entry   Bill and credit accounts within the accounts payable system, including processing journal vouchers and FedEx or UPS transactions   Act as a liaison between departments and vendors, resolving billing issues and ensuring funds are available for purchases   Provide administrative support for efficient office operations, including reviewing electronic direct invoices for accountability and weekly balancing, and filing all approved invoices   Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices   Specialized training in specific aspects of job functions or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks   Prior Accounts Payable experience preferred   Above average PC, Word, Excel, Outlook, and computerized accounting skills are required   Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on accuracy in handling confidential information
