Accounting Bookkeeper

We've helped many local school districts with their high volume recruiting and retention needs, helping get students the bus drivers, nutrition staff and after school staff they deserve. We are a fast growing startup recruiting company where many of our back-office functions require a higher level of focus. We are looking for a detail oriented, experienced bookkeeper and office manager to help part time with accounting, invoicing, payroll and other similar functions. This individual should be located in the Twin Cities within commuting distance to Minneapolis. Much of the work will be virtual, however there could be instances where in-office or client side presence is required. We estimate this role would be approximately 10 hours per week, however could change based on the needs of the business.

  Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks Process accounts payable and receivable Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records Prepare weekly reporting Assist with payroll processing and invoicing Support scheduling and office management tasks as needed Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes Key Responsibilities: 5+ years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office, particularly Excel Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Excellent organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company Why join us?
