JOB SUMMARY The entry-level Accounting Associate-AP will primarily ensure accurate and timely payment processing for external vendors and broker agencies as well as the yearly production of the company's 1099s.
Additionally, this role entails providing direct and proactive support to brokers and support staff by maintaining high standard of knowledge and service.
The right candidate will be analytical, organized, detail-oriented and with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have knowledge of accounting practices, an ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and work well with others to ensure the corporation's financial health. Accounting or Finance degree is a plus, or equivalent work-related experience.
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
1. Basic computer and data base skills.
2. Ability to type 35 WPM.
3. Ability to Alpha data enter 5000 KSPH and Numeric data enter 8000 KSPH
4. Ability to handle confidential information.
5. Good people skills.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
2. Customer Service and Accounts Payable experience is preferred.
3. Accounting or Finance Degree is a plus, or equivalent work-related experience.
