Lithos Energy designs and builds advanced lithium-ion battery packs from the ground up for use in high-performance automotive, marine and aerospace applications. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for supporting the accounting operations. This
individual must be a self-starter, have strong knowledge of GAAP and analytical skills, as well as
excellent time management and communication skills to perform duties and meet deadlines under
minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Invoice Processing and Reconciliation: Review and process vendor invoices ensuring proper
coding and adherence to company policies and procedures. Collaborate with Receiving to
reconcile GR/IR discrepancies. Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable ledger to
ensure accurate and timely payments.
Vendor Setup and Communication: Collaborate with buyer on vendor setup process, including
verifying vendor information and maintaining accurate records in the accounts payable system.
Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and handle payment enquiries
effectively.
Monthly Account Reconciliation: Reconcile Cash, AP, Credit Cards, and other GL accounts as
assigned.
Other: Collaborate with buyer during periodic PO maintenance effort. Communicate with
employees and HR to ensure timely processing of travel and expenses. Participate in internal
and external audits.
Qualifications
Degree in accounting / finance OR equivalent
Understanding of basic accounting principles
3+ Years professional experience
1+ Years experience in NetSuite
Experience in Manufacturing Company
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented, ability to multi-task
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems
Salary - 80-90K +Equity - Based on experience
