Full job description Accountant
As Accountant (Johnston, Iowa) you will assist in many aspects of ensuring financial accounting are executed in accordance with applicable, IFRS and U.S. GAAP standards, company policies, as well as applicable federal reporting requirements. The candidate will collaborate with colleagues in finance and other business leaders across the organization and therefore requires exceptional communication skills to effectively convey accounting matters.

Day to Day
Roles & Responsibilities Support the financial accounting team ensuring timely execution of accounting processes in an effective manner and in compliance with Company policies, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. GAAP and applicable federal reporting requirements. Responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and documentation of accounting processes and procedures. Lead in researching and resolving discrepancies related to general ledger account reconciliations, and recommend and champion process changes to avoid on-going issues. Review accounting tasks with a continuous focus on improving processes and enhancing financial controls. Act as liaison between Accounting team and the business - Communicating and Educating. Ensure the financial results are presented accurately and timely; with corresponding analytics. Ensure timely and correct execution of accounting activities for vendors and lessees to achieve accurate and up-to-date administration and financial reporting. Essentials Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance. Advanced Excel skills. Strong financial system expertise, encompassing spreadsheet, queries, large volume data manipulation and reconciliation, and month-end accounting close processes. Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills as wells as strong attention to detail, organized and time effective. Self-starter with the ability to work cohesively with team members. Familiar with U.S. GAAP financial reporting. Capacity to manage multiple deliverables within agreed timeframes. Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers and business as well as upper management. Applicable Pay Range $ 47,839.34- $71,759.00
This position is subject to the terms of DLL's compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the applicable pay range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
